Thank you for your interest in LIGHT of Ohio, Inc.

LIGHT of Ohio, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization started for the purpose of providing resources and activities for home-schooled children and their families, designed to enhance the educational process of home schooling by exposing home-schooled children to a diverse blend of educational, cultural, and social activities. All of the activities will be grounded in Bible-based home schooling curricula, and will be chosen based on the benefit of the activity to the educational process, giving particular attention to the integration of faith and learning. The purpose of the activity is to advance the education of home schooled children, and to help such children grow in the knowledge of God and Jesus Christ, in order to lead them to Christ, and build their faith in Him.

LIGHT of Ohio membership is restricted to families who are excused from compulsory education according to the Ohio Administrative Code. Membership is only available to independent private home schooling families. If you are enrolled in a public school, a publicly funded e-school including OVAK12, E-Cot, Ohdela, Ohio Virtual Academy, Treeca, or any other publicly funded community school, you are participating in a compulsory public education, therefore, membership in LIGHT of Ohio is not available.

If your family would like to join LIGHT of Ohio, Inc. please fill out and return the above membership forms. Don't forget to make a copy for your own record!

Each of the above forms containing an asterisk (*) must be completed, signed and returned to us to qualify for membership. Returned forms and payment may be mailed to: LIGHT of Ohio, Inc., P.O. Box 142, Green, OH 44232

The LIGHT Board will review all membership packages. Applicants will be notified as to the status of the application within two weeks of the receipt date by e-mail or standard mail.
